Canadian Douglas fir is naturally resistant to bacteria, pests and fungal decay. The high resin content of Douglas Fir makes it one of the most hardwearing softwoods, perfect for exterior cladding, fencing and decking.
With an interesting and wild grain pattern, Douglas Fir provides a unique character with a service life of 35 years.
Douglas Fir Cladding is generally clear of knots (A Grade) but it can contain up to 15% of B Grade so some boards can have one or two 'dead' knots or through holes up to 10p size
