Timber Species:
European Oak

European Oak (Quercus robur) is a timeless, attractive and naturally-durable hardwood cladding choice, available in longer lengths. For almost any internal or external residential or commercial project, European Oak steps up to the mark — perhaps for an eye-catching oak-clad garden room, or an internal oak cladding feature wall. Finger-jointing refers to a process where smaller pieces of timber are machined and glued together, end-to-end with tapered ‘fingers’, to create one long length. Our finger-jointed European Oak is then profiled to a sharp, more defined Shiplap cladding profile. Ideal for those looking for a solution in a longer length, finger-jointed European Oak cladding provides extra stability and at a cost saving compared to solid piece production. For smaller pieces, this product can also be edited free from defects.

Shiplap Fingerjointed Cladding DTC29

Finger Jointed Oak Shiplap Cladding is a sharper lined more defined take on our standard Shiplap. Finger Jointed Cladding is made up from smaller pieces and joined together in the length to create a longer piece. We stock a set length of 4.500m that can contain between 5 and 7 pieces. The added benefits of the Finger Jointed Shiplap are long available lengths, extra stability and a cost saving against solid piece production. A stylish, cost effective profile.
