Timber Species:
European Oak

Finger Jointed Oak is a process where smaller pieces of timber are machined and glued together to create one long length. This is usually then goes on to be profiled into a decking or cladding board. The key benefits of a Finger Jointed product is that the smaller pieces can be edited free from defects, it is available in longer more stable lengths and is a cheaper alternative to a solid plank.

Finger Jointed Oak Shiplap Cladding is a sharper lined more defined take on our standard Shiplap. Finger Jointed Cladding is made up from smaller pieces and joined together in the length to create a longer piece. We stock a set length of 4.500m that can contain between 5 and 7 pieces. The added benefits of the Finger Jointed Shiplap are long available lengths, extra stability and a cost saving against solid piece production. A stylish, cost effective profile.
