Timber Species:
Douglas Fir

Canadian Douglas fir is naturally resistant to bacteria and pests. This species is one of the most hardwearing softwoods, perfect for exterior cladding application.

With an interesting and wild grain pattern, Douglas Fir provides a unique character with a service life of 35 years.

Our Douglas Fir cladding is generally clear of knots (A Grade), but it can contain up to 15% of B Grade, so some boards can have one or two 'dead' knots or through holes up to 10p size.

V-Grooved Cladding is the most popular choice of profile, both on small and large scale projects. When the easy fit tongue and grooves butt together they make a neat ‘V’ shape that creates a faint yet effective shadow line. A clean, uniform and contemporary profile.
