Iroko
Iroko (milicia excelsa) is a tropical hardwood from the west coast of Africa.
This species boasts an attractive and exotic mixture of golden to dark browns, bearing a close resemblance to teak, with an interlocking grain. Dense and scratch resistant, Iroko is also naturally durable against moisture, rot and insect attack.
Once machined and finished with a product like Owatrol Textrol HES, this timber really stands out and you can see why it is rightfully regarded as the Rolls-Royce of external hardwoods.
