Mylands - Friction Polish
Product Information
Mylands Friction Polish is a Shellac based polish carried in Methylated Spirits specially formulated for use on turned items on a lathe to give a high gloss finish.
It contains a high Shellac content which gives good build, so does not normally require a sealer coat prior to application.
It is very fast drying when used on a lathe as the friction developed in the turning process aids dry.
Suitable for all types of wood.
| Coverage: | The coverage will depend on the type and absorbency of the substrate and amount applied, but should be an average of 10 – 12m² per litre. |

| Clean up: | Use Methylated Spirits, 09 802 0741 |
| Drying Time: | Due to the friction produced in the process, the polish will be touch-dry immediately. It should be hard dry within 10 – 20 minutes at 20°C. |
