Rainscreen Cladding
Rainscreen cladding (DTC27, DTC28) — also known as 'splayed', 'rhombus' or 'open jointed' cladding — is made up of boards cut at an angle and equally spaced apart once installed.
Unlike most other cladding types, rainscreen boards are not interlocked or connected, so the system is not waterproof. It must only be installed in front of a fully waterproof surface.
