Thermo-Ayous

Ayous (triplochiton scleroxylon) is a clear grade tropical hardwood from west and central Africa. It’s also known as obeche, abachi, samba and wawa.

Starting life a creamy, pale yellow colour, after heat treatment, the species takes on a rich, darker chocolatey brown. This modification process also bolsters the wood’s stability and resistance to moisture, insects and decay.

The result is a clean, contemporary, high-performance product for fencing applications.
