An alternative to Western Red Cedar, Alaskan Yellow Cedar offers comparable durability, stability and decay resistance in exterior cladding and fencing. Its uniform pale yellow tone, fine texture and straight grain take stains and oils well, and a tinted UV stain gives a finish similar to Western Red Cedar.
