Natural Character, Lasting Style: Thermo-Nordic Pine Garden Decking

The natural character of Thermo-Nordic Pine creates a timeless, country-inspired decking area in this quintessential English garden.

For this project Thermo-Nordic Pine was chosen to bring a traditional look. This species, with its prominent grain pattern and abundance of structurally-sound live round and splay knots, offers a characterful and nature-inspired look.

The sustainable thermo modification process exposes the timber to high heat and steam, altering the wood's molecular structure to improve its outdoor durability. It also imparts the glorious mid-to-dark brown hue.

The profile in question is our flat and fluted DTD2 profile. A unique decking profile developed by us, it has a double-textured face – smooth on the edges with a fine fluted (or ribbed) centre to the board. This offers a smart, eye-catching look.

As you can see, the boards are orientated in various different ways over multiple levels, bringing an additional architectural touch.
