Burnblock® effectively prevents oxygen from reaching the treated timber - No oxygen. No fire.

Once absorbed by the treated material, Burnblock®leaves behind a surface that can char and release water upon application of heat. This process absorbs a portion of the heat and helps prevent further occurrence and spread of fire.

Pressure Impregnation

Burnblock® is a non-toxic, water-based product, which makes it very easy to handle and extremely flexible to use in a wide variety of materials and manufacturing processes.

The treatment is impregnated into the timber with the use of a pressure vacuum tank.
