We certainly felt like a winner to have the opportunity to supply the cladding for their £4,000,000 Lake District property! Overlooking Coniston Water, the four-bedroom beauty has a summerhouse, spa and its own private jetty.
The product in question is vertical mixed width moulded cladding, PAR (planed all round) in Thermo-Ayous, with a structured grain texture and coated in our Colourflex Pro preservative coating.
Thermo-Ayous refers to Ayous – a tropical African hardwood – that has undergone a sustainable thermal modification process to further enhance the wood's outdoor durability and stability.
This product has a structured face finish – a wire brush is used to create texture, defining the grain of the timber. The mixed width arrangement of the moulded cladding provides further architectural touch.
Colourflex Pro is our preservative coating. This offers high-performance UV protection and can be customised to a range of colours to suit any project vision.
