Western Red Cedar House Cladding

1 min read

Two-story house with a wood-clad, horizontal plank facade on the right and white wall on the left, a small upper window, and a gutter downspout against a blue sky.

Along with the glorious pinkish-brown hues of Western Red Cedar, this customer wanted to use more of the darker toned boards. After being finished with a UV protectant oil, the contrast really stands out.

The product used here is Western Red Cedar in our horizontal V-groove DTC3 profile.

The stunning mix of reds, pinks and browns — typical of this perennially popular species — speak for themselves, providing the property with a characterful, modern flourish.

Two-story house with wooden siding in natural tones, two windows on the lower floor and one on the upper, black gutter and downspout, blue sky.
Modern two-story house with white exterior and horizontal brown wooden cladding, large glass door and windows, gravel path and blue sky.
Two-story house with warm wood siding on the right and a white facade on the left, a red-orange privacy wall in the foreground, blue sky above.
