We recently checked in on the progress of this stunning barn conversion project which we were delighted to provide cladding for.

Thermo-Ayous continues to be the cladding of choice in 2025, this time on a stone and timber-clad barn conversion project.
With no knots and a light-to-medium brown tone, this species offers a warm, clean and contemporary look to any build.

Working with local business owners Michaela and Matt with a view to maximise budget, we recommended a wide-cover board option in our DTC13 shadow gap profile.
Because you need less cladding for your project, greater cover size on cladding boards means lower cost per m².

When left uncoated and with exposure to sunlight, Thermo-Ayous will naturally weather and gradually change colour from a light-to-medium brown tone to a consistent light grey-to-silver.

As you can see, this build is still a work in progress... but we can't wait to see it completed.

We will continue to follow the progress of this build with Michaela and Matt, so bookmark this page and be sure to check back for updates.
In the meantime, if you like what you see and you're planning a project of your own, be sure to explore our range of timber cladding.
